The Judge invites three witnesses to the stand: the “Little Girl”, imprisoned for the murder of her abusive father; the “Haitian Woman”, a refugee who dies in the World Trade Center while writing to her son in Paris, and the “Artist”, obsessed by the pain in her body, who offers a sort of apology for evil, because it is an essential element for inspiration and creativity.
