Jay Roberts (Actor Ryan Eugene Buckner) is a great reporter, always searching for the truth. When he discovers that a senator is involved in a cult, he goes public with the information and ends up losing his job. Blacklisted, Jay can’t get a job at any reputable news outlet, so he takes on a job with a sensationalized online magazine. His first assignment is to cover the work of Pastor Dialto (Actor Paul Anthony McLean) and his upcoming 50th deliverance. Unbeknownst to Jay, when he uncovered the cult, a demon started pursuing him with the purpose of possessing him to tell his story.
Jay tags along on a couple of house calls with Pastor Dialto, the second of which is anything but routine. Jay’s skepticism fades as he tries to get to the bottom of what's at play and why a demon wants to possess him and those around him. Each host of the demon turns up dead, one after the other, and Jay learns that he's the main target.
As Jay gets closer to Pastor Dialto, Dialto reveals a dark secret he’s been hiding, which is increasing the demon's strength. Ultimately, Jay's safety and the safety of his loved ones are at stake. Jay confronts the demon head on and urges Dialto to face the truth to be set free from the darkness that haunts him.
